Jackson sets single game D-League record, Stampede win 136-122

BOISE--  Former College of Southern Idaho standout and current Idaho Stampede guard Pierre Jackson scored an NBA D-League record 58 points, as the Stampede easily beat the Texas Legends, 136-122.


Jackson, who was leading the league in points per game going into Tuesday’s contest, shot 72 percent (24-33) from the floor.  He was 7-of-13 from three-point range, and added eight assists and six rebounds in the incredible performance. 


Stampede guard Kevin Murphy added 39 points, seven rebounds, and five assists in the win. 


The Stampede (16-12) will now hit the road to Reno to take on the Big Horns on Friday night.
