BOISE-- The Boise Hawks bats came alive on Saturday night, as eight batters pounded out 15 total hits in a 9-2 win over the Vancouver Canadians. The Hawks picked up their fourth straight victory.
Carlos Penalver was the driving force behind the offense, as the shortstop went 3-for-4 at the plate, including a grand slam home run in the second inning.
Kris Bryant managed to get a hit in the win, extending his hit streak to 13 games.
The Hawks will face the Canadians again on Sunday in a double header. Game 1 is set to begin at 12:00 p.m.
