VANCOUVER, B.C.--  The Boise Hawks had no answer for dominant pitching by the Vancouver Canadians, as the Hawks fell, 4-0, on the road Thursday night.

Canadians’ pitchers Matt Dermody and Scott Silverstein combined for a six-hit shutout in the win.

The Canadians did all of their offensive damage in the third inning, scoring four runs off starter James Pugliese.

The Hawks have now lost 7-of-8 games.  Both teams will square off again on Friday.
