MONTREAL -- Former Boise State head football coach Dan Hawkins will once again roam the sidelines.  After working in television for over two years, Hawkins was officially announced as head coach of the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL on Tuesday.

Hawkins coached the Broncos for five years, winning four conference championships in that time.  He most recently was the head coach at Colorado, before being let go in November of 2010.

Hawkins replaces Marc Trestman as coach of the Alouettes, who was hired by the Chicago Bears last month.
