BOISE -- The Boise State Men's Basketball team (11-3. 1-0) is set take on the No. 13/15 Aztecs of San Diego State University (12-1, 1-0) Wednesday, January 8, in their first conference road game of the season.
Tip off is scheduled for 9:05 MST at Viejas Arena in San Diego, California.
On the hardwood, Bronco front man Leon Rice set up a tough non-conference schedule to get his team ready for Mountain West Conference play.
Kentucky, Iowa State, and Saint Mary's gave Boise State more than it could handle.
But did it prepare the Broncos for the Mountain West, well we're about to see.
The Broncos go on the road to San Diego State.
The 13th ranked Aztecs are coming off of a road upset at 16th ranked Kansas on Sunday.
San Diego State was in control all game, and led by 11 in the second before hanging on to a 4 point win.
This is a team that is scary, and perhaps the most talented that the Broncos will face this year.
"Kansas shot 29 percent at home against them, which is just unbelievable. I mean, your talking about Kansas, at home. They're just so long, so athletic, and they look like they take so much pride in what they're doing," said head coach Leon Rice.

GAMES AGAINST TOP-15 TEAMS
This game marks the third game against a top-15 opponent in just the last month, and is also the first time in school history that they have faced three teams in the top-15 in a single season.
