BOISE -- After helping the Rocky Mountain baseball team to their first 5A state title in school history a little over week ago, senior Bryce Feist was recognized for his individual efforts on Wednesday with the highest honor a high school baseball player can receive.
Feist was named the Gatorade baseball player of the year for the state of Idaho, after hitting .471 with 44 RBI, while posting a sub-2.00 ERA and a perfect pitching record for the Grizzlies this spring.
The third baseman has signed a letter of intent to play in college at Dixie State, a Division II school in Utah.
