GULLANA, Scotland -- Former Boise State golfer Graham DeLaet shot a 1-over 72 in the second round of The Open Championship in Gullana, Scotland on Friday.

After posting a 5-over 76 in the opening round on Thursday, DeLaet managed to sneak into the weekend after he birdied three out of the last seven holes in round two.

DeLaet is 6-over for the tournament and tied for 49th place.

The cut line ended up at 8-over.

The news means that DeLaet has now made 17 of 20 cuts this season, including a personal-best nine in a row.

DeLaet will be back in action on Saturday for round three. He tees off at 3:35 a.m. MDT in Scotland.
