BOISE-- The Boise State men's basketball team improved to 2-0 on the season, outlasting a pesky Oakland team, 88-80, on Tuesday night at Taco Bell Arena.
Sophomore guard Anthony Drmic led the way for the Broncos scoring 25 points and hauling in 10 rebounds for his second double-double as a Bronco. The Aussie was 4-of-11 from behind the three-point line, and also tied for a team high five assists.
Sophomore guard Derrick Marks followed up with 18 points, shooting 6-of-16 on the night. Two other Broncos scored in double figures.
This is the second straight game that the Broncos have scored more than 80 points.
BSU will next host Louisiana-Lafayette on Sunday at 1 p.m.
