Broncos picked first in MWC pre-season poll

LAS VEGAS, NV.--  For the third straight season, the Boise State football program will be the team to beat in the Mountain West, the league announced at its annual Media Days on Monday.

 The Broncos received 40 of the possible 41 first-place votes by the media to win the Mountain Division. Newcomer Utah State was the only school to receive a first-place vote in the divison.

 Fresno State was the near-unanimous pick to with the West Division. The Bulldogs received 39 first-place votes. San Diego State and newcomer San Jose State each receiver one.

 The Broncos, Bulldogs and Aztecs each shared the Mountain West title in 2012, but this year an outright champion will be crowned. The two division winners will meet in the inaugural Mountain West Championship Game on Dec. 7.
