FORT COLLINS, Colo.-- The Boise State men’s basketball team came away with a win for the first time ever on the road at Colorado State, defeating the Rams, 84-72, on Tuesday night. The Broncos (17-9, 7-6) used hot shooting from behind the line (13-of-22, 59.1 percent) to move into fifth place in the Mountain West Conference standings.
Anthony Drmic led the Broncos in scoring with 19 points. But it was the bench play of Thomas Bropleh and Jeff Elorriaga that was a huge spark for the away team. Bropleh matched a season high with 18 points, while Elorriaga, who has struggled due to a back injury as of late, shot 3-of-4 from three-point range for 9 points.
The Broncos also set a season high in assists with 21 assists.
Boise State returns home to Taco Bell Arena to host UNLV on Saturday, February 22.
