BOISE-- The Boise State softball team stretched its home win streak to 25 games, as the Broncos beat UNLV, 7-5, to improve to 2-0 in the Mountain West Conference on Saturday.
Allie Crump pitched six and two-thirds innings in the victory, while striking out seven batters without surrendering a walk.
But it was the Bronco bats that really made the win happen. Boise State hammered out 13 hits, including six straight in a four-run third inning.
The 25-game win streak is the nation's second longest.
Boise State will host UNLV in the series closer on Sunday at 1 p.m.
