BOISE--  The Idaho Steelheads allowed four goals on the night, and fell at home 4-0 to the Ontario Reign.  If they could gotten the win, the Steelheads would have clinched a spot in the ECHL playoffs.
Ontario came out firing in the first period, and slipped two goals past Idaho goaltender Jerry Kuhn in the opening frame.  The visiting team added two more goals in the second, and held off numerous Steelhead attacks to preserve the win.
Ontario goalie J.F. Berube stopped a perfect 26 shots in the shutout victory.
Both teams will face off again Saturday night at 7 p.m.
