ONTARIO -- The Idaho Steelheads got down early to the Ontario Reign, and couldn't make up the difference, falling 3-2 on the road on Saturday night. The Reign win evens the best-of-five series up and two games apiece.
Ontario struck early with a goal in the first period, and another in the second to go up 2-0. The Steelheads cut the lead in half when Chad Nehring lit the lamp. But the Reign countered with another goal in the second to go up two goals. Aaron Lewicki's goal got the Steelheads to within one late in the period, but they were shut down after that. Neither team scored in the final frame, as the Reign preserved the win to tie up the series.
The deciding Game 5 will be played on Monday in Ontario. The puck will drop at 8 p.m.
