Former Idaho Steelheads goalie Richard Bachman made an impact for the Steelheads when he played in Boise during the 2009-2010 season.  Bachman is now shining in the NHL as a Dallas Star, with his most recent feat being a shutout win over the New York Rangers in Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night.

Bachman turned away all 34 shots put on goal in the win, which is his second career victory in just three games played.

The 24-year-old hails from Salt Lake City, and helped lead the Steelheads to a Kelly Cup Final appearance in 2010.  He was named to the ECHL All-Star team that year.
