BOISE -- Former Idaho Steelheads forward Barry Potomski passed away, Tuesday, at the age of 38.
Potomski played in 32 regular season games with the Steelheads during the 2000-2001 season. He scored ten goals and tallied seven assists during his time playing for Idaho.
He also helped Idaho reach its first ever WCHL Taylor Cup and was selected as the team's playoff MVP following the postseason run. The Steelies fell to the San Diego Gulls in 7-games in the Taylor Cup Finals.
The former Steelhead played a total of 68 games in the National Hockey League, in 1992, playing for the Los Angeles Kings and San Jose Sharks.
