The East Coast Hockey League announced on Monday that it has accepted the Colorado Eagles to become a member of the Western Conference. The Eagles will join the Idaho Steelheads and six other teams in the west.
Previously a member of the Central Hockey League, Colorado is coming off a finals appearance in the 2010-2011 season. The Eagles play in Loveland, Colorado.
