Loveland, CO-- The Idaho Steelheads bounced back on the road, defeating the Colorado Eagles, 1-0, to take a two games to one lead in the opening round of the Kelly Cup playoffs. Goaltender Tyler Beskorowany stopped all 20 shots that he faced in the win.
With the series tied at one game apiece, the Steelheads knew that they must come away with a road win to bring the best-of-seven series back to Boise. Neither team scored in the first period, but the Steelheads were able to break the tie in the second when Tyler Gron centered a pass to Adrian Foster, who beat Adam Brown for the game's only goal.
Game 4 of the series will be played on Sunday night in Colorado.
