BOISE – The Idaho Stampede netted a win Saturday night against the Utah Flash. Unfortunately for the Stampede, the Texas Legends also scored a win tonight, effectively shutting the Stampede out of the playoffs.
The Stampede won their final game of the season over the Flash, 95-92. Idaho led by as many as 17 during the game. With 3:17 left in the game and an 86-86 tie, the Stampede used the final minutes to pull ahead.
Meanwhile, the Legends had a double-overtime win over the Austin Toros. That win made them even with the Stampede in the final standings, but a tie-breaker win put them in the eight-team playoff and shut out the Stampede for the second straight year.
