Boise High School offensive lineman John Ojukwu committed to Boise State football before the Braves' game vs. Columbia

BOISE -- Just after 5 p.m. Thursday night, Boise State head football coach Bryan Harsin send out the "recruiting bat signal," a tweet from his personal account with the letters "ATF." or "Attack the Future."

Coach Harsin typically tweets "ATF" when Boise State lands a new recruit.

This time, the tweet was more specific, adding "Home Grown!" drawing attention to local players.

As it turns out, we wouldn't have to look far to find the newest Bronco, Boise High's John Ojukwu. The senior, who put on 100 pounds in one year, committed on the way to the Braves' senior night game against Columbia.

Ojukwu fielded several offers, including the University of Hawaii and Portland State University before commitiing to Boise State.
