Helena, MT -- The Boise State football program nabbed the top recruit out of Montana over the weekend. Capital High (Helena) senior wide receiver Matt Miller gave his verbal committment to the Broncos on Christmas day. Miller was the Montana Gatorade Player of the Year for 2009, and was named the offensive MVP for both the 2008 and 2009 football seasons.
Miller helped his team to a divisional record 33 straight wins, 2 state championships and a runner-up finish in the 2009 state championship. He caught 54 passes for 900 yards and six touchdowns and also rushed for 851 yards and 12 touchdowns this season.
Although Miller has accepted a scholarship, his decision won't become final until he offically signs his letter of intent to play at Boise State.
