LOGAN, Utah – Doug Martin ran for 121 yards and four touchdowns and No. 6 Boise State remained unbeaten and in BCS contention with a 52-21 victory over Utah State on Friday night.

Jeremy Avery added 116 yards rushing and two touchdowns for the Broncos (11-0, 6-0 Western Athletic Conference), who gained 243 yards and scored four TDs in the second quarter — two 43 seconds apart to break a 14-all tie.

Boise State added another touchdown barely 2 minutes into the third quarter and what was a close game for about 25 minutes turned into the rout it was expected to be.

Utah State (3-8, 2-5) fell to 1-51 against ranked teams.

Boise State's Kellen Moore was a modest 15 for 29 for 233 yards with a touchdown, breaking a streak of six straight games with three of more touchdown passes. But he had enough help in the backfield that it didn't matter.

The Broncos rushed for a season-high 323 yards and outgained the Aggies 572-363.

Diondre Borel was 18 for 30 for 201 yards and kept the Aggies alive by avoiding several sacks with his speed, but the Broncos eventually started catching him and Utah State didn't have enough other weapons to keep up after matching Boise State's first two touchdowns.

After Robert Turbin tied it at 14 on a 24-yard run for the Aggies with 6'28 left in the second, the Broncos drove 73 yards in four plays to retake the lead for good. Titus Young made a diving grab with a defender all over him for a 56-yard catch at the 2, where Martin easily ran it in for a 21-14 lead.

Then Utah State fumbled a handoff and Ryan Winterswyk recovered at the 9 for the Broncos and Avery scored on first down, putting the Broncos up 28-14 with 4'04 left in the quarter.

Being down two touchdowns at halftime would have been tolerable for the Aggies, but another defensive lapse late in the period allowed the Broncos to drive for a 1-yard touchdown by Martin with five seconds left in the half. The Aggies almost had Boise State stopped on third-and-10 with about a minute left, but Martin broke through for a 17-yard run to keep the drive going.

The Broncos opened the third quarter with a 71-yard drive, needing only four plays to score again on a 32-yard run by Avery.

Boise State intercepted a tipped pass on the opening possession and quickly took a 7-0 lead on a pass from Moore to Tommy Gallarda.

The Aggies answered on a 22-yard touchdown run by Michael Smith, who woke up the Utah State fans that had been drowned out until then by the orange-clad Boise contingent.

The Broncos got a little lucky on their next touchdown. The snap was bad and bounced to the left of Moore, but Martin scooped it up and bolted for a 17-yard touchdown run with 8'51 left in the second quarter.

Borel got Utah State right back, starting the next drive with an 18-yard option keeper to the 47. He also threaded a pass through tight coverage for a 14-yard gain to Eric Moats, then Turbin broke through the defense and ran 24 yards for a touchdown to tie it at 14.

BOISE -- Bronco fans left in full force this morning bound for Logan, Utah.

More than 70 cars, RV's, and buses left Bronco Stadium just after 9 a.m.

Organizers say they want to show the nation that Bronco fans will travel for their team.

"One to show the solidarity of our fans as they go down to cheer for the football game, but the other main emphasis of it is to really show the nation how well Boise State can travel." said Brad Larrondo, assistant athletic director for marketing.

Gerry Wilson drives a big RV decked out in Bronco colors. He was the first fan to show up just before sunrise. Wilson is the older brother of Kyle Wilson, senior cornerback for Boise State, and he's also the caravan leader.

"Were' getting it all taken care of, and it would be great if we could lead all the way to Logan. We said sure we'll be there 5 a.m. ready to go," said Gerry Wilson

This game is important because the BCS committee looks at the fan base when selecting teams to put in bowls. The committee wants to make sure fans will follow like they did for the 2007 Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona.

That's why Crissie Fields is taking her family down in their SUV.

"We have, have fans, will travel. That's our message for the BCS selection committee," said Fields.

She painted on the back of her vehicle -- "BCS or Bust."

"Bronco Nation is ready and willing to travel anywhere you want us to go," said Fields.

"I think it's very important. We showed the last time when we went to the Fiesta Bowl that we travel real strong. And even with these down economic times, it's going to be a little tougher, but we're going to find different ways to get down there. Instead of flying maybe we drive this time," said John Wheeler who is driving to Utah.

As the morning progressed more and more fans pulled in with flags flying from their windows. And fans were bright eyed and bushy tailed. Shortly after 9 a.m. the caravan pulled out of the Bronco Stadium parking lot.

"I think it was a great idea!" exclaimed Wilson.

The drive to Logan, Utah, is nearly five hours.

About 2,000 to the game have been sold and for last minute travelers, and tickets will still be available at the game.

For those of you who can't make it to the game, but want to know how the trip is going, Boise State are already one step ahead.

"We are going to be doing updates throughout Bronco Sports platforms. Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, where armchair travelers can see what it's like to go on this trip." Larrondo said.

He said there will be a parking lots and several tailgating areas for Bronco fans at Utah State.

"We really expect Bronco Nation to take over the Utah State parking lot down there," said Larrondo.

Our Justin Corr says the first group of Bronco fans began arriving in the lot around 2'30 p.m.

BOISE -- The Boise State Broncos look to go 11-0 today at Utah State.

They hope to keep their undefeated season and BCS bowl game dreams alive.

The 6th-ranked Broncos are big favorites tonight against Utah State.

The oddsmakers expect BSU to beat the Aggies by more than three touchdowns.

Boise State ran its winning streak over the Aggies to eight games last year with a 49-14 dismantling at Bronco Stadium.

The Broncos shut out Utah State, 52-0 the last time they played in Logan.

This year, Utah State is just 3-and-7, but the Broncos aren't taking anything for granted.

"A lot of guys that play hard and play fast and athletic, and they show a lot of different looks. I mean we'll have our hands full with these guys. So we'll have to come out with our A-game," said Bronco tight dnd Kyle Efaw.

The last time the Aggies beat the Broncos, you have to go all the way back to 1997 in Logan, when both schools were in the Big West.

We'll have complete pre-game and post-game coverage from Justin Corr in Logan.

Tune into tonight at Five and Six -- we will hear from Utah State coach Gary Andersen about how much he admires BSU's program.

The game will be televised on ESPN2. Kick-off is at 7'30 p.m.

BOISE -- It's on the mind of every Boise State fan right now, but the BCS is also on the minds of the national sports talk show hosts including one of the country's most popular, Dan Patrick, and Wednesday his show lit up Bronco Nation.

The Executive Director of the BCS, Bill Hancock, went on the Dan Patrick Show, and had his feet held to the fire, since his system gives teams like Boise State, little or no chance to play for a national title, even with an unbeaten record...or does it?

Click on the video link to hear the exchange.

The guy running the BCS is still unwilling to change to a playoff system, and as you heard, right now, is all about a team like Boise State playing in the national title game.

But on December 6, when those final BCS standings come out -- don't count on it.

The next test for the Broncos is this Friday.

Justin Corr will be in Logan, Utah there covering it for us.

The Broncos take on Utah State. Kickoff is at 7'30 p.m.

ESPN 2 is televising the action.

BOISE -- We are in the final weeks of the college football season and this is the time of year the bowl speculation begins to shift into high gear.

All of the college football experts are assuming TCU will be handed the automatic non-BCS ticket, which leaves the question -- what are the chances that BCS history will be made this season and two non-BCS teams will get it?

Turns out -- pretty good!

Fifty-fifty – that’s what the odds are for Boise State, according to foxsports.com's Peter Schrager. And he isn’t alone.

Here are six bowl prognostications from major college football Web sites'

ESPN's Mark Schlabach and Bruce Feldman both give the Broncos the green light to face the Big-10's number 2 team -- either Iowa, Penn State or Wisconsin at the Fiesta Bowl.

Fox Sports is also in agreement, as well as CBSSports.com and Scout.com.

The one publication that disagreed was Rivals.com who has USC in the BCS mix, but three losses likely have them out of the mix.

We talked with Schrager about the stars beginning to align for a possible return trip to the Fiesta Bowl for Boise State.

“With USC losing on Saturday, with Miami losing Saturday, with Notre Dame losing on Saturday and Boise just keeps rolling, I think they are as attractive an option for the Fiesta Bowl's second "at-large" bid and it’s probably going to come down to them and Oklahoma State or Georgia Tech, and I think Boise State is as intriguing as any of those options," said Schrager.

Schrager says he was the first to say at the beginning of the season that there would never be a time that two non-BCS teams could crack the big money bowl series, but now he and many of his colleagues have changed their tune!

"I think it’s a 50-50 shot here. They need a little help but the argument is there. If any year there was gonna be two non-BCS teams in the BCS bowl picture, this is the one," said Schrager.

Again, all of it hinges on the Broncos remaining unbeaten and getting just a little more help.

“Let’s spell out where that help needs to come from.

Oklahoma State with a win over Oklahoma in Norman on the final game of the year on Thanksgiving weekend would make a strong case for the Fiesta Bowl at 10-2.

How ironic is it that Bronco fans Fiesta Bowl fate could once again involve the Oklahoma Sooners? This time they'll be rooting for the Sooners!

And, then the ACC championship game. If a three-loss Clemson team upsets Georgia Tech to get the automatic berth, a two-loss Georgia Tech would likely bump the Broncos. That game is on December 5th..

So most are now saying if Oklahoma and Georgia Tech take care of business, then the Broncos are as good as Glendale, Arizona bound.

Of course, all this could be thrown out the window if the unlikely happens. That is if either BSU or TCU loses.

Here's a look at what's still on tap.

TCU only has two regular season games remaining against Wyoming and winless New Mexico.

Meanwhile, Boise State still has three games left. Utah State in Logan and back home for Nevada and New Mexico State.

BOISE (AP) -- Richie Brockel, the starting tight end and captain of the No. 6 Boise State offense, is expected to miss the
rest of the season with a foot injury.

Brockel, who has eight catches for 75 yards and two touchdowns this season, injured his left foot in the Broncos' 63-25 blowout
over rival Idaho Saturday. Coach Chris Petersen declined to provide details of the injury, but said Brockel, a senior, is undergoing
tests Monday.

Petersen and teammates said Brockel's value is in setting the physical tone for the offense and being a leader.

The Broncos (10-0) also lost freshman running back Matt Kaiserman for the season. Kaiserman, who saw his first action last
month at Hawaii, suffered a broken right leg. In four games, Kaiserman has 33 carries for 150 yards and one touchdown.

Young, a junior from Los Angeles returned 3 kickoffs for a total of 130 yards. His longest return was for 105 yards late in the 2nd quarter of Boise State's game against Idaho, which he took in for a touchdown. The distance of the return tied a school record, which was set 28 years ago, interestingly enough against the Vandals.

Fellow California native, Austin Pettis was awarded for a career performance on Saturday against the Vandals. Pettis caught a career high and tied a Boise State record with 4 touchdown receptions. With his 4th score he also set a new single season record for touchdown receptions with 14. That catch also gave him his 29th career touchdown reception, 1 shy of the program record. Keep in mind, Pettis is setting all these records as a Junior.

BOISE, Idaho – Pollsters who help decide the BCS want style points. Well, Boise State sure looked beautiful in — and on — blue.

Kellen Moore threw four touchdown passes to Austin Pettis and tied a career high with five overall, and the supposedly endangered, No. 6 Broncos overwhelmed Idaho 63-25 on Saturday.

Titus Young had a 100-yard kickoff return that was actually longer and Kyle Wilson returned an interception 71 yards for another score for the big-play Broncos (10-0, 5-0 WAC), who beat their rivals for the 11th consecutive time.

Moore, the nation's passing efficiency leader with 32 touchdowns and just three interceptions, passed Steve Young for 19th place on the Western Athletic Conference's list for career touchdown passes. His 57th in two seasons was to Pettis early in the fourth quarter.

Recent close wins on national television had put Boise State behind TCU in the BCS rankings, and only the higher ranked non-BCS school has a chance to crash the megabucks series.

This one wasn't close.

The go-go Broncos used a halfback pass, an interception return, a kickoff return and funky formations all for scores.

The Vandals (7-4, 4-3) were supposed to join WAC co-leader Nevada, which comes to Boise in two weeks, as the remaining threats to the Broncos' third perfect regular season since 2004. Idaho came to Boise off to its best start in 15 years.

It left here Vandal-ized. Again.

The Broncos came in averaging 59.4 points per home game against Idaho in five games this decade. The last three times the Broncos have played the Vandals in Boise, they've won 58-14, 70-35, 65-7 — and now Saturday's runaway.

Boise State has the nation's best home winning percentage this decade at .968 (61-2).

Idaho committed seven turnovers, six by fill-in quarterback Brian Reader. He threw five interceptions while starting for the second consecutive game for Nathan Enderle, who is second only to Moore and 10th nationally in passing efficiency. Enderle has a rotator cuff.

Reader, who finished 17 for 27 for 305 yards and a touchdown, lost a fumble on his third play, setting up Pettis' leaping touchdown catch over Kenneth Patten. Reader threw an interception on his second pass, which Boise State converted into a 25-yard touchdown from Moore to Young, behind a block by Pettis.

Pettis reached high for an 8-yard touchdown catch that made it 21-7 after one quarter. Moore was 9 for 10 for 101 yards and three touchdowns in the period.

Idaho appeared to claim some momentum to carry into halftime when DeMaundray Woolridge, who rushed 24 times for 143 yards, scored his 15th touchdown of the season from 1 yard to make it 35-17 with 22 seconds remaining in the half

Trey Farquhar's kickoff soared 7 yards deep into the end zone. Young appeared ready to concede a touchback, but teammate Doug Martin urged him to run it out.

Great idea. Young sprinted untouched down the right sideline. Martin threw a crunching block, and Winston Venable leveled Farquhar at the Idaho 40 to wipe out the Vandals' last chance at the tackle — and the upset.

Officially, Young's return was 100 yards, tying a Boise State record set by John Broadous in 1981 also against Idaho. This one put the Broncos up 42-17 at the break.

Moore was 15 for 20 for 199 yards in the half, and Boise State had its most points in a half since Aug. 30, 2007, against Weber State.

BOISE -- While Boise State and Idaho duke it out on the field Saturday, a team of scientists will try to measure which team's fans are more rowdy.

Scientists will set up equipment to guage how loud and how much the stadium shakes. It's potentially scientific proof which fan loves their team more.

"Broncos of course have better fans," said Matea Smith.

"I am not biased at all, but Idaho has the better fans," said Brian Hall.

"I'm going to say Idaho," said John Aldape.

"Blue and orange pride," said Brittany Barcellos.

Two men, a Boise State student and professor, are behind the project. Andrew Nies came up with the idea to place equipment used to measure earthquakes around Bronco Stadium.

The idea came as he was looking for a practical way to study seismic activity. He would have preferred a volcano.

"But we don't have any volcanoes around here so," said Nies.

"So you're substituting a home football game for a volcano?" asked NewsChannel 7.

"Yes," replied Nies.

With the help of his professor, Dr. Matt Haney, they first tried this idea during the last home game.

"This signal here was caused by the crowd cheering for the Broncos right before they scored a touchdown," said Nies.

It worked. As scientists, their next step -- duplication.

"That wasn't a rivalry game, and we still saw a substantial amount of ground shaking just from the San Jose State game. So we're expecting to measure significantly more this weekend," said Haney.

"There's definitely going to be stomping and cheering and probably a lot screaming. Lots and lots of noise," said Smith.

"I think it's going to quake. There could be a 6.0. This thing is going to rock," said Hall.

For the sake of science, these seismologists want fans to be loud regardless of who's winning on the field.

"I don't think it would be rubbing it in to, you know, keep up your intensity. You can think of it as something you're doing for the sake of science," said Haney.

"Our fans are always loud, and especially when our team comes out to charge, then we'll be really pumped," said Barcellos.

About 20 people will work this weekend, gathering data from the equipment and matching it up with what's happening on the field. After that, there are talks about using this as a way to pump up the fans in the stands during future home games.

It is rivalry week in Idaho. The Vandals and Broncos face-off at Bronco Stadium on Saturday, and the Vandals are hoping to put an end to a decade-long streak.

Really, this rivalry is all about streaks. Any Idaho fan will tell you about the 12 years in-a-row the Vandals beat the Broncos, from 1982 to 1993. But, Boise State certainly has all the bragging rights now. They're currently on a 10-game win streak over Idaho. Obviously, it dates back to 1999, when Dirk Koetter's crew hammered the Vandals in Pullman, 45-14, to earn the Broncos' first-ever bowl bid. This year's edition of the Broncos talked about how important it is, to keep the streak alive!

"You have to keep winning the rivalry game. I mean, you don't want to let it go back in the hands of someone else. Like I said before, you just need the heightened sense of awareness, and keep getting after the guys," said Richie Brockel, Senior fullback.

Junior defensive end Ryan Winterswyk agreed, "No one on this team has lost to Idaho, and that's a big deal for us, and the Seniors, and guys who have played here in the past. Dont' lose to Idaho, that's kind of one of our things."

As Tom Scott pointed out on Sunday Sports Extra, the average margin of victory for the Broncos during the current streak, is 30 and-a-half points! During the Vandals streak, it was just over 16.

MOSCOW - Horizon Air unveiled a shiny new plane decked out in blue and orange this week leaving many clamoring for a ride. Many -- but not everyone.

The jet features a blue and orange paint scheme, and a giant Broncos logo on the tail.

The plane touched down in Boise for the first time Tuesday - then quickly started cris-crossing the northwest on its regular routes.

The plane was set to fly from Moscow to Boise Tuesday -- and so was University of Idaho athletic director Rob Spear. But when he realized his travels would bring him into the Treasure Valley on the Bronco plane, Spear steered clear.

UI spokesperson Becky Paul says Spear went to the Horizon counter and asked to be booked on a flight out of nearby Spokane instead. She says Spear isn't showing disrespect to the Broncos - but said he wouldn't fly on the blue & orange plane until the airline adds a Vandal black & gold model to its fleet.

The Broncos and the Vandals hit the gridiron this Saturday at 1'30 p.m. in Boise in a highly anticipated rivalry game.

BOISE - Boise State University announced today it will form a new corporation and sell shares to the public.

"We're now going to sell shares of stocks in the Broncos, in our team," said Gene Bleymaier, BSU Athletic Director.

But before you go out tweaking your financial portfolio – there are things you need to know.

It's about money. Boise State has projects it wants to do like adding more seats to Bronco stadium, but the money isn't there. So BSU started a nonprofit organization called Boise State Broncos Inc., and they're selling Bronco Stock, but you'll never see this stock on the New York Stock Exchange.

"We need to appeal to the passion of Bronco Nation," said Bleymaier.

With a slew of projects lined up to better Boise State's Athletic facilities, Bleymaier announced Wednesday afternoon his plan to fund them. One project on the docket is short 300-thousand dollars.

"We can't do it without the community. We need their help in every way shape or form," said Bleymaier.

They're hoping that help will come in the form of people buying Bronco Stock. Shares of that stock are sold through a new nonprofit organization called Boise State Broncos Incorporated.

"This will depict ownership in the Broncos, and we want all of our donors and boosters to become a part of the program and own part of our program," said Bleymaier.

But is there really any ownership?

"I suppose when you call something a stock it is misleading because it implies ownership. There is no ownership," said Certified Financial Planner Dave Petso. "This is not a stock in anyway shape or form. It won't trade, it can't trade.”

"You own a piece of the money that's in the company at any point in time, and you own the ability to come to the meetings and give your thoughts and suggestions on how it ought it be deployed. But as it is deployed it is gone as far as you're concerned," said Boise State Broncos CEO Jon Miller.

The goal, raise 20 million dollars by selling shares at 100-bucks a piece. Bleymaier says the stock does not earn you any privileges, it does not appreciate and stockholders do not receive dividends.

"But it also, hopefully gives them a feeling of ownership, a feeling of participation and that's what we're offer here, and a feeling of pride, that say, hey, I want to be a shareholder, I like what's happening there, I want to be a part of it," said Bleymaier.

Beyond the pride of contributing and a certificate showing ownership, along with an annual shareholders meeting, Petso says don't expect much more.

"It is just a fancy way of creating another fundraiser," said Petso. "But it's not an investment in anyway shape or form. You're just giving $100 to BSU. That's it. You really don't own part of the team.”

Bleymaier says the 12 man board is already selected. All of them long time contributors to the University. Bleymaier says these men are some of the University's best and most loyal contributors. Shareholders will have a chance to vote on changes on the board during the annual shareholder's meeting.

Those interested in buy stock can do so via a Web site that will be up by Thursday.

So far, the school has sold over 1,200 shares Boise State Broncos, Inc.

Boise State Broncos Inc. Board Members
Jerry Caven, Jerry Dancer, Allen Dykman, Richard Fedrizzi, Jon Miller, Allen Noble, Duane Stueckle, Milford Terrell, David Turnbull, George Wade, Larry Williams, Charles Wilson.

BOISE -- There was a time when it was the biggest game of the season for both teams and every fan in the state. That has not been the case for the last decade, but this year both coaches are saying things could be different.

The biggest change comes from the Vandals who are off to their best start in 15 years and are bowl eligible for the first time in 10 years.

Both Bronco and Vandals fans are saying this rivals the way this game used to be.

Both coaches obviously want to win. Both have bowl games in their sites. One is zeroing in on busting the BCS, while the other has no qualms about saying it wants to ruin that dream.

"This is our rival game, and I'm excited about it," said Idaho head coach Robb Akey.

"I think it's one of those, real good healthy, intense rivalries," said Boise State head coach Chris Petersen.

Both Akey and Petersen have been a part of other big in-state rivalries. For Akey, it was Washington and Washington State. For Petersen, it was Oregon and Oregon State.

"Before I came over here, I was told by a lot of people, hey, I'm telling you that this thing is pretty intense and really from the fan standpoint that is where I think it gets up energy and steam," said Petersen.

"I think they are identical, and I think that Governor's Cup, the Apple Cup, they're both, they're the biggest game in the state. There's no in between. There's no either or, you're either a Vandal or a Bronco, there's no in between on that," said Akey.

Vandal Nation is out for Bronco blood this weekend, trying to spoil Boise State's chances of making it to another BCS bowl.

"If we get done, then that might make me the least popular coach in the WAC Conference, with the administrators throughout the conference, because that means, if we get this job done there won't be a BCS bowl coming to our conference, and that's something we would take great pride in," said Akey.

"I think that's the attitude that he would need to have. I think if the situation was reversed, we'd probably have the same one," said Petersen.

WAC Commissioner Karl Benson said he isn't offended by Akey's comment. He expects it.

"Every week that Boise State plays, there's one team that is trying to beat them, and there are seven other athletic directors that more than likely are going to be rooting for Boise State, and pulling for Boise State," said Bensen.

"Chris has done a fantastic job there, and they've got a good thing going, and I think it's going to be an exciting afternoon Saturday," said Akey.

"We've been extremely impressed with Idaho. Those guys play hard, they fight hard, they really compete and we're just looking for, we know it's going to be a good hard fought game," said Petersen.

Idaho would love to end the 10-game Bronco winning streak but Akey also knows that a shot at returning to the Humanitarian Bowl does not hinge on this game. At 7-3 the Vandals have plenty of "wiggle" room in their final two games to finish bowl eligible.

Stick with Channel Seven throughout the week leading up to the game. Our pre-game show starts at noon on Saturday. The Governor's Cup kicks off at 1'30 p.m. on ESPNU. Then join us after the game with live post-game reaction.

BOISE -- With Boise State sporting a top-10 ranking, and Idaho in the middle of a dream season, Boise was a finalist to host ESPN's College GameDay program November 14, the day of the rivalry game between the Broncos and the Vandals.

But on Sunday, BSU's Max Corbet said he was told the show will go to Fort Worth for the TCU-Utah game.

Boise State and TCU are in somewhat of a race for the probable one BCS Bowl bid for a non-BCS team.

RUSTON, La. -- Just when Boise State looked vulnerable, Kellen Moore and the Broncos quickly reminded a national television audience why they've been unbeatable.

Moore threw for 354 yards and three touchdowns, and No. 5 Boise State survived a brief scare on the road with a 45-35 victory over upstart Louisiana Tech on Friday night.

Tech had pulled within 30-28 early in the fourth quarter on Dennis Morris' leaping catch in the corner of the end zone. The Broncos defense buckled down long enough after that for Boise State to pull away with touchdowns on consecutive drives, the second score coming on Jeremy Avery's 44-yard touchdown run.

Avery finished with 146 yards rushing, while Titus Young caught eight passes for 110 yards, including a 40-yard touchdown for Boise State (9-0, 4-0 Western Athletic Conference).

Trailing 27-7 at halftime, Tech (3-6, 2-4) made a game of it in the third quarter, starting with Josh Victorian's first career touchdown on Moore's third interception of the season. It was an ill-advised throw under pressure that hung in the air for Victorian, who raced down the sideline and cut inside Moore to cap a 75-yard return.

Boise State responded with a 15-play drive to set up Kyle Brotzman's third field goal on four tries, then Tech's offense suddenly came to life. It got its first first down in two quarters on the way to a 73-yard scoring drive capped by Ross Jenkins' 9-yard keeper around the right end to make it 30-21.

Tech's Matt Nelson then caught the Broncos by surprise with an onside kick that he recovered himself. Shortly after, Jenkins found Morris over the middle for 36 yards to the Boise State 12, setting up Jenkins' third-down pass to Morris, who leaped to catch the ball over defensive back Kyle Wilson's head.

When Brotzman missed his second field goal of the game on the Broncos' next drive, the crowd was going wild, and it appeared the Bulldogs just might upset the highest-ranked team ever to play at Joe Aillet Stadium.

Instead, Boise State put its figurative foot down, forcing a quick punt. Then Moore floated a pass down the sideline to Kyle Efaw for his second 40-yard completion of the game, setting up a 12-yard scoring pass to Austin Pettis to make it 38-28.

Soon after, Tech failed to convert a fourth-and-6 on its own 44, setting up Avery's game-clinching run to make it 45-28 with 4'52 to go. Tech managed a touchdown after that.

Moore's three TD passes gave him 27 on the season, eclipsing the 25 he had last year as a freshman.

The Broncos have scored no fewer than 45 points in each of their four WAC games this season.

Still, Boise State could have used a more dominant victory in its quest to prove it is more deserving than unbeaten Texas Christian for a Bowl Championship Series bid.
