BOISE -- Boise State men's tennis player Vicente Joli has been honor by the Western Athletic Conference as Player of the Month for October.
The native of Castellion, Spain finished the month with a singles record of 6-1. His only loss came at the D'Novo ITA All-American Championships, but following the loss he won six straight matches on his way to winning the Wilson/ITA Mountain Region Championship. He also went 3-3 in doubles matches in October with 2 of the losses against the 2nd and 10th ranked players in the country.
With his singles title at the regional championships, Joli has earned an automatic berth to the ITA National Individual Indoors this weekend (Nov. 5-8) in New Haven, C.T.
