MOSCOW, Idaho --The Idaho Vandals were on quite the winning streak, until last weekend.

The team won five games in a row for the first time in years, but that ended this past weekend when the Vandals lost to Nevada in

Reno, 70 to 45.

So what should they do now?

Coach Robb Akey says he plans on moving forward and looking to the next game.

"I'm as excited as can be to be coming back home," Akey said. "We're coming home for Homecoming! It's a good thing. Having three

out of the next four (games) here in the Dome, I'm very excited about that. The road presents its own challenges, let alone the team

you're going to play. I think that's an added strength."

With a win this weekend, Idaho can run their record to a very good 7 and 2.

Idaho kicks off with Louisiana Tech at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
