BOISE -- Boise State forward Kenny Buckner is giving the Broncos some vital playing time now that he has returned from a brief suspension. In his two games back since the time off, Buckner is averaging 24 minutes, and has scored nine points and hauled in 12 rebounds. He is also giving the Broncos another big body on defense.
That contribution has been a help for the team, which has missed guard Jeff Elorriaga. The junior has missed two games due to concussion-like symptoms. Elorriaga practiced with the team on Monday, though head coach Leon Rice said that he did not know if doctors will clear him to play.
Boise State faces Colorado State on the road on Wednesday night.
