BOISE -- The Boise State Broncos are still chasing a BCS bowl bid after running their record to 7-0 Saturday night with a 54-9 trouncing of Hawaii.
Kellen Moore threw five touchdowns, three of them to Titus Young and Skyview High's Matt Kaiserman ran for 122 yards.
However, TCU, the team that BSU is racing against for a BCS bowl bid, moved one spot ahead of the Broncos in the newest BCS rankings. BSU fell from 4th to 7th.
Two of the polls that go into the BCU put the Broncos at number 5. Boise State stayed put in the Harris Poll and the Coaches' Poll.
All of the top 5 stayed the same, but TCU did move up to 6th after their defeat of BYU.
Boise State must finish ahead of the Horned Frogs if they want a BCS bowl bid.
In the Harris Poll, also one-third of the BCS formula, once again, the top 5 stays the same, with BSU retaining the number 5 ranking! That's great for Bronco fans.
But once again, TCU moves up a spot to 7th.
