BOISE -- Taco Bell Arena was full of energy on Sunday afternoon, as the Boise State athletic department hosted its second “Beauty and the Beast” event of the season.
The event featured the Boise State wrestling team hosting Cal Poly, while at the same time just a few feet away, the Boise State gymnastics team took on Southeast Missouri.
Both Bronco teams put on dominant shows, and both came away with impressive victories.
The Bronco wrestlers won six matches, two by pins, to secure a 43-3 win over the Mustangs.
The gymnastics team was also outstanding, defeating the Redhawks, 196.30-191.325. The score was the 15th-best in team history for BSU.
