TV: The Mtn. (Direct TV: 616, Cable One: 329, Dish Network: NA)

Coming off a 68-63 upset over No. 3 Colorado State on Wednesday at the Mountain West Conference Tournament, the Boise State women's basketball team will face the New Mexico Lobos on Friday at 3:30 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

New Mexico - a No. 7 seed - is coming off a shocking win over No. 2 seed UNLV.  Playing on the Rebels (22-9) homecourt, the Lobos (10-19) won 61-58.

Boise State swept the regular-season series against New Mexico.  The Broncos beat the Lobos in Boise, 65-46, back on January 11 and then again in Albuquerque, 68-64, on February 4.

If Boise State wins, they will face the winner of No. 1 seed San Diego State and No. 5 seed Wyoming in the MWC Tournament championship game on Saturday.

The winner of the MWC Tournament gets an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.

Western Athletic Conference Tournament
4. Idaho (12-19) vs 1. Fresno State (26-5)
Orleans Arena, Las Vegas, NV - 3:00 p.m.
TV: WAC Sports Network

The Idaho women's basketball team beat No. 5 seed San Jose State 67-63 on Wednesday to advance to the semi-finals of the Western Athletic Conference Tournament.  Krissy Karr (17), Alyssa Charlston (16) and Stacey Barr (13) all scored in double-figures, marking the third time in as many years the Vandals have advanced to the semi-finals of the WAC Tournament.

Now they will play No. 1 seed Fresno State, a team that beat Idaho by a combined 31-points in two games during the regular season.  The Bulldogs went 13-1 in conference play this year and beat No. 8 seed New Mexico State 66-58 on Wednesday in the opening round.  Fresno State's only loss versus a WAC-opponent this season came against San Jose State, a team the Vandals went 3-0 against.

If Idaho can pull the upset, they will face the winner of No. 2 seed Utah State and No. 3 seed Louisiana Tech in the WAC Tournament Championship game on Saturday.  The winner of the WAC Tournament gets an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.
