Bronco basketball makes future additions

BOISE -- On Tuesday, Boise State head men's basketball coach Greg Graham announced Chris Kupets signed his national letter of intent to playe his college basketball at Boise State.  Kupets is a 5-11 point guard from Hill College in Hillsboro, Texas. 

Kupets college career actually began at East Carolina, but later transferred to Hill College where he averaged 16 points and 3 assists through 6 games. 

The Athens, Georgia native averaged 26.1 points and 5 assists in his final season at Cedar Shoals High School, where he led the program to the Region 8-AAAA Title and a 27-2 overall record.  For his efforts that year he was named the Athens-Banner Herald Northeast Georgia Player of the Year and was also a first team all-state honoree.  He finished high school with 1,374 points, which is 6th all time at his high school.

On Monday, Boise State men's basketball coach Greg Graham announced 7-foot-1 Ben Mills signed his national letter of intent to become a Bronco.  Mills was one of the hottest prospects in the state of Wisconsin receiving offers from 19 Division 1 programs before narrowing his search to Boise State, Hawai'i, and Oregon State.

Mills, who's out of Heartland, Wisconsin is preparing for his senior year at Arrowhead High School where he helped the Warhawks to a 17-5 record in 2008.  As a junior he averaged nearly 14 points and almost 10 rebounds a game, while shooting 50-percent from the floor (36% from 3-pt range).
