BOISE -- Anthony Drmic matched his career high with 34 points and made five 3-pointers as Boise State cruised to a 116-87 victory over Texas-Arlington on Friday night.

Derrick Marks added 17 points and Ryan Watkins contributed 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Broncos, who scored the second-most points in program history. Boise State shot 57.7 percent from the field and made 13 3-pointers while falling two points short of the school-record 118 set against Portland State on Jan. 25, 1971.

Reger Dowell scored 20 points, Lonnie McClanahan tallied 19 and Vincent Dillard added 18 for UT Arlington.

The Broncos out-rebounded the Mavericks 45-26 and led by as many as 37 points.

Drmic, a junior, previously scored 34 points in a victory over LSU last December.

Boise State starting guard Jeff Elorriaga was held out for precautionary reasons after recently getting hit in the head during practice
