BOISE -- While football season is in full swing, Thursday marks the first practice of the fall for the Boise State men's basketball team.
After clinching the school's first-ever NCAA Tourney at-large berth last season, the buzz around this year's Broncos is noticeable. Eager to build on what they accomplished, coach Rice and company can't wait to get started.
On thing BSU will look to improve on this year is defense. Last season, they ranked 214th in the country in opponent field percentage. The guys haven't forgotten that. This year they will don those digits on their practice shirts to serve as a little motivation.
