BOISE-- The Boise Hawks bounced back from a tough road trip on Monday, capturing a 5-4 win over Yakima in extra innings. The winning run came in the bottom of the tenth by way of a walk off solo homerun to right field by first baseman Paul Hoilman.
The Hawks trailed by two runs early, but managed to tie the game up at 4-4 in the eighth and force extra innings. Hoilman led the tenth inning off for the Hawks, and ended the game with one swing of his bat. The homerun is Hoilman's third of the season.
The Hawks will host the Bears again on Tuesday night.
