BOISE-- The Boise Hawks allowed three Yakima runs in the second, and failed to respond, falling to the Bears 4-1 at home on Saturday.
The Hawks started the scoring off with a run in the first inning. But the Bears countered with three runs off pitcher Ben Wells, and added another in the eighth inning to take two of three games from the Hawks.
The Hawks remain at home on Sunday hosting Spokane.
