YAKIMA, Wash.-- The Boise Hawks righted the ship on Friday night, ending a two game losing streak with an 11-3 win over the Yakima Bears.
The Hawks (9-6) pitching staff was dominant on the night, holding the Bears to just 3 runs on 6 hits. On the flip side, the Hawks piled up 12 hits in the win. Ben Klafczynski led the way for the Hawks, batting 3-4 with 4 RBI's and a HR.
The Hawks will face the Bears again on Saturday night for Game 2 of a three game series.
