BOISE-- In their first Northwest League playoff game appearance since 2006, the Boise Hawks fell 6-0 to Tri-City on Monday in the opener of a three game series. The Hawks must now win the next two games at Tri-City to advance in the playoffs.
Dust Devils pitcher Christian Bergman pitched a gem, allowing just two hits in seven innings of work. Tri-City designated hitter Juan Crousset belted a three-run home run to put the game away in the third inning.
The Hawks will face the Dust Devils on the road in a must-win game two.
