SPOKANE, Wash.-- The Boise Hawks road woes continued on Tuesday, as the Hawks dropped a close 3-1 to the Spokane Indians.
With the game tied at 1-1 in the fourth inning, Patrick Cantwell lined a two-out double that scored and put the home team on top for good.
The Hawks got their lone run in the second when Rock Shoulders singled in Chad Krist to go up 1-0.
James Pugliese took the loss for the Hawks, allowing two runs on three hits in four-plus innings of work.
Both teams will play again tomorrow night in Spokane.
