SPOKANE, Wash.-- The Boise Hawks jumped out to a four-run lead against Spokane on Friday night, but couldn't hold it as the Indians rallied to win their second straight 6-5.
Once again, the Boise bats were hot early, as the Hawks tacked on four quick runs in the second inning powered by a Rock Shoulders two-run home run.
But Spokane weathered the storm, and rallied in the eighth inning while trailing 5-3. The Indians led the inning off with a solo homer, and then got a two-out, two-run double from Cam Schiller to eventually win the game.
Both teams will square off once again on Saturday night.
