The Boise Hawks couldn't make it two in a row over the Everett Aquasox on Monday night falling 7-3.

Boise Hawks pitcher Juan Serrano played a big role in keeping the game close.  The Cuban worked five solid innings allowing no runs and he struck out six for the Hawks.

His team even gave him some offensive help.  In the fifth catcher Jeff Vigors hit a double to deep center field scoring Ryan Cuneo and Dustin Harrington to make it a 2-0 ball game.  Vigors had all three RBI's for the Hawks on Monday.

But not even Vigors could keep Everett off the scoreboard in the eighth.  Jordan Lotham came in for the Hawks and recorded just one out and faced eight batters.  He only allowed one hit, but was responsible for all five runs that came in during the inning.  He takes the loss after his one-third inning of work.

The Hawks 7-12 in the second half of the season.  They continue their series with Everett on Tuesday night.  First pitch is set for 7:15.
