BOISE, ID - Trailing NAIA-power Lewis-Clark State 38-37 at halftime, the University of Idaho men's basketball team rode a last run to a 80-75 comeback victory at CenturyLine Arena on Wednesday night.
LCSC went scoreless for nearly four minutes down the stretch while Idaho was able to go on a 10-0 run to grab a 76-70 lead. Darious Walker ended the Warriors drought with a jumper at the 1:06 mark but it was too little too late.
Idaho junior Kyle Barone led the Vandals with 19 points and nine rebounds on 8-of-10 shooting, as true freshman Connor Hill - a Post Falls High School graduate - chipped in with 11 points including a team-high three three-pointers.
Idaho returns to Moscow this Saturday to play Montana State at Memorial Gym.
