BOISE -- With eleven new players on the roster, the pace of practice is different this year for the Boise State men's basketball team.

"We told these guys we're going to be relentless, but we're going to be patient," second-year head coach Leon Rice said.

With that in mind, time is starting to run out.  On Nov. 8 the Broncos host Colorado Springs in an exhibition, then play Colorado Christian three days later in their first non-conference game of the season.

"Games are coming up quick," Rice said.  "We alway tell these guys 'the bus is leaving and you've got to be on it.'"

In the Mountain West preseason media poll released earlier this month, the Broncos were picked to finish last.
