BOISE -- The Boise State Bronco men's basketball team (11-5, 1-2)  faces off against the University of Nevada at Reno Wolfpack (9-8, 4-0) at 8:05 MST on Wednesday, January 14 at the Lawlor Event Center in Reno, Nevada.

Just about every college basketball team reaches that rocky patch in the middle of the season when the ball doesn't bounce quite the right, the shots don't fall, and the wins are hard to come by.

That's the situation for Boise State right now, as the Broncos have lost two straight, but both games were close.

They had a chance to knock off No. 13 San Diego State on the road, but Derrick Marks shot was off the mark. They also went down to the wire with Wyoming at home on Saturday, but came up short.

It would be easy to get down, but the Broncos are confident they will get through this rough patch.

"You always gotta try to bounce back. You always gotta look at the silver lining, and plus we lost a couple games like this throughout the year, but just gotta keep fighting until we get that one. We'll get over the hump, and I think that's what we'll be able to do, so we'll be alright," said senior forward Ryan Watkins.

"That's college basketball. You gotta be able to fight through this and move forward. Every team goes though a tough stretch. We're going through one right now, but like I said it's two possessions away from being a great stretch, so we just gotta find a way to flip it and our guys are going to work hard, and we're going to grind it out and figure out a way to get better," said head coach Leon Rice.

The game will be shown on the Mountain West Network - you'll be able to watch it live here on KTVB.COM.
