BOISE-- The Boise State men's basketball team bounced back from an 11-point deficit to beat rival Idaho, 78-68, at CenturyLink Arena on Thursday.
Sophomore guard Derrick Marks led the way for the Broncos, scoring a game-high 25 points. Junior forward Ryan Watkins chipped in 17 more points, and pulled down a team-high seven rebounds.
The Vandals got out to a hot start in the first half, and built an 11-point lead before going into halftime up 37-29. But the Broncos responded following the break, going on a 13-1 run that resulted in a Boise State lead that they held.
Boise State head coach Leon Rice is now a perfect 4-0 against rival Idaho.
