CALDWELL, Idaho--  The College of Idaho went on a 13-point run in the second half, and halted Northwest Nazarene’s string of seven-straight wins, as the Yotes defeated the Crusaders, 93-83.

The College of Idaho never trailed in the rivalry game, but did see its double-digit lead cut to just one point at the 12-minute mark.  But the Yotes got five offensive rebounds in a five minute span, and turned those boards into points to pull away for the victory.  Taylor Pruett hit a clutch three-pointer and was fouled, adding four points to the Yotes run.

Pruett scored 21 points on the night, two short of teammate Demetrius Perkins, who scored a career-high 23 points.  Kevin Rima led the Crusaders with 22 points.

A replay of the game can be seen on Idaho’s Very Own 24/7, Digital Channel 7.2, on Wednesday at 12 p.m.
