BOISE -- The Boise State men's basketball team is headed to the NCAA Tournament after completing one of the best seasons in school history.
The Broncos learned this afternoon their opponent will be the La Salle Explorers of the Atlantic 10 Conference.
Boise State and La Salle play in the first round in Dayton, Ohio on Wednesday. Tip off is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. MT. The game will be broadcast on truTV. Fans can find truTV on Channel 246 on DirecTV, Channel 60 on Cable One, and Channel 204 on the DISH Network.
This is a play in game. The winner will advance to a Friday match-up in the West Regional against Kansas State in Kansas City, Missouri. That game tips off at 1 p.m. MT.
Boise State head coach Leon Rice knew they were on the bubble heading into Selection Sunday but expressed confidence his team would be picked. "I think our (resume) stands up," he said.

BSU was one of five Mountain West Conference teams that made this year's tournament. The others are New Mexico (conference champions), UNLV, San Diego State and Colorado State.
