MOSCOW-- Idaho Vandal center Kyle Barone has been suspended indefinitely for violating team rules, Idaho men's basketball head coach Don Verlin announced on Monday.
A three-year letter winner, Barone is the team's active points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals leader going into the 2012-2013 season.
Verlin said that Barone's status would be re-evaluated as the season progresses.
The Vandals open the season Saturday, October 27, with an exhibition game against Seattle Pacific at home.
