Vandal, Iupati, Outland Award finalist

University of Idaho senior guard Mike Iupati is one of three finalists for the Outland Trophy, which honors college football's most outstanding interior lineman.

The 6'6, 325 pound lineman from California has helped the Vandals to their best season in more than a decade.  Iupati was a one of the offensive captains and Akey calls him, "A first class young man."

Iupati is joined as a finalist by Oklahoma State’s Russell Okung and Nebraska’s Ndamukong Suh.
