BOISE-- The Idaho Steelheads may be heading into the ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs without their hot goaltender. On Monday, the Steelheads announced the rookie goalie Josh Robinson was recalled by the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League.
Robinson has played well in his professional debut season, recording five shutouts for the Steelheads, and winning 27-of-39 games played.
This is the second time this season the Robinson has been called up to the AHL, but he is yet to play in a game at that level.
The Steelheads have three road games remaining in the regular season before the start of the playoffs.
