EAGLE -- For the 14th year, Idaho prep football players participated in the East-West Shrine All-Star Game to raise money to directly benefit the Shriners Hospitals throughout North America.

The Shriners were out at the game today showing their support for the athletes at Eagle High School.

The East took an early 7-0 lead, but had some trouble holding on to the ball.

Rocky Mountain's Tevin Archuleta fumbled and Payette defensive lineman Tyler Kuder was there. The West wouldn't be able to capitalize.

The East would take over and Capital's Jeremy Powers over the middle to Rocky's Sam Reid. A 20-yard pitch and catch for the score, taking it to 14-0 East.

Later on, there would be more East offense with Mountain View’s Daniel McSurdy in for the touchdown.

East wins the 11-man game with a score of 28-27.

Shriners Hospitals give free treatment to children who need special care.

Proceeds from the games' admission tickets will be donated to the Shriners’ hospital system.
