Denver, CO -- The Western Athletic Conference announced it's weekly honors Monday morning, awarding Boise State's, Titus Young the Special Teams Player of the Week and Austin Pettis the Offensive Player of the Week.

Young, a junior from Los Angeles returned 3 kickoffs for a total of 130 yards.  His longest return was for 105 yards late in the 2nd quarter of Boise State's game against Idaho, which he took in for a touchdown.  The distance of the return tied a school record, which  was set 28 years ago, interestingly enough against the Vandals.

Fellow California native, Austin Pettis was awarded for a career performance on Saturday against the Vandals.  Pettis caught a career high and tied a Boise State record with 4 touchdown receptions.  With his 4th score he also set a new single season record for touchdown receptions with 14.  That catch also gave him his 29th career touchdown reception, 1 shy of the program record.  Keep in mind, Pettis is setting all these records as a Junior.
