BOISE -- Boise State University head football coach Chris Petersen says the University of Washington's 38-6 drubbing of his Broncos on Saturday resulted from "fixable" errors that coaches and players began addressing Monday at their first post-loss practice.

At a press conference Monday, Petersen said it was just a matter of time before one of his teams would suffer such a lopsided defeat.

The No. 19-ranked Broncos' loss to the unranked Huskies lowers his career record to 84-9.

The game was reminiscent of the 48-13 loss at the University of Georgia's Sanford Stadium back in 2005, before Petersen became head coach.

BSU plays the University of Tennessee at Martin Saturday, for the team's home opener.

Petersen says he's seen enough of Tennessee Martin to know they can beat the Broncos.
