Boise cyclist and Olympic hopeful Kristin Armstrong finished 9th in Saturday's downtown criterium stage of the Tour of the Gila in New Mexico.
Despite that finish, Armstrong was still the leader going into the final stage Sunday. She not only hung on to the lead, she blew away the competition to win the Tour of the Gila.
She won the final stage, the race, and was named the 'Queen of the Mountain.'
